WHAT IS ROLFING?

Rolfing is a powerful system of connective tissue manipulation that will help align your structure to allow for easy, efficient, pain-free movement. Connective tissue is a three dimensional network that includes fascia, tendons, and ligaments. It surrounds and permeates muscles, bones and all of our internal organs and structures. When healthy, this web of tissue is pliable and layers slide over each other, making movement easy and painless. Through age, injury, stress, and overuse, the tissue can thicken and harden causing tension, inefficiency of motion, and pain.

Rolfing can relieve these chronic patterns of tension and the results can be dramatic. After a series of sessions, Rolfing clients experience pain reduction or elimination, a more aligned, upright posture, improved performance, and just generally feel more comfortable in their bodies.
